How to Use iDevice Headset

The white earphones that come with your iPhone or other mobile earphones may not be the best sound quality devices on the market, but if you have a pair with remote control buttons on them, you may not know how much you can actually do with them-from answering phone calls, starting and pausing music, to activating Siri and giving it commands.

During listening to Music (Music)

If you want to listen to Music, press the Middle button 1 click to play (Play) and press another 1 click to stop the music (Pause).



When listening to music, press the Plus (+) button to increase volume (Volume Up).
When listening to music, press the Minus (-) button to decrease volume (Volume Down).
When listening to music, press the Middle button 2 times and hold to push the song toward faster (Fast Forward).
When listening to music, press the Middle button 3 times and hold to push the song back to back (Rewind).
When listening to music, press the Middle button 2 times to Jump to the next track.
When listening to music, press the Middle button 3 times to Jump to the previous track.
Using the Siri Function (Voice Assistant)
The easy way to use Siri function when you plug the headset into your iDevice by pressing the Middle button for 3-4 seconds to Activate Siri.
Using the Camera Function (Camera)
When you log into the Camera function on the iDevice, you can use headset to Capture the images by press the Plus (+) button.
Using the Call Function (Pick Up Call)
During you are listening to music then someone Call, you can press the Middle button to Pick Up a Call and press the Middle button again to End a Call.
If you don't want to receive a Call, just press the Middle button and hold for 3-4 seconds (Reject Incoming Call).

No doubt Apply will be adding more voice commands in the future releases of iOS devices, and though the feel and orientation of its popularly used earphones may change, the remote functions should get enhanced.
